A little jaunt from island to island across the Torres Strait between Australia and Papua New Guinea. Eleven takeoffs and, hopefully, eleven landings. The trip is 295 nautical miles; the shortest strip (pictured) is 1,530 feet. Full-stop landings at each strip are preferred, but for those of a nervous disposition a touch and go will do. Choose your aircraft accordingly.
