Over the last few days I’ve been spending quite a bit of time working on Empirekicking again, and if you’ve visited the site recently you’ll probably notice that quite a few things have changed.

I wanted to give the site a bit more of an identity rather than it just being a forum with a homepage stuck on the front of it. So I’ve been going through the homepage, changing the layout, moving things around and trying to make the different sections actually feel like they belong together.

I’ve also been working on some of the content that sits around the forum, including new pages and different sections that I can hopefully build on over time.

There’s still plenty I want to change. I keep spotting little things when I’m looking at the site and thinking “that could look better” or “I could do something with that”, so I’m sure there will be plenty more changes coming.

The main thing I want is for Empirekicking to feel like somewhere you can actually have a look around, find something useful, read what other people are doing and hopefully get involved yourself.

It’s still a work in progress, but I’m quite happy with how it’s starting to come together. Have a look around and let me know what you think. If you spot something that looks odd, doesn’t work properly or you think could be improved, tell me. I’d rather know about it than have something broken sitting there for months. 😂

There’s plenty more planned, so this definitely isn’t the finished version yet.
